THE PERFECT PROTECTION FOR YOUR POOL, ENCLOSURES AND COVERS

Both options protect the pool from the elements, keeping the water in top condition for longer.

More and more owners avoid emptying their pool after the summer has passed and opt to prolong its use, regardless of the season or the inclement weather. It is at this time that covers and covers appear, which have become one of the best options when it comes to enjoying the pool during the longest winter season.

There are numerous types of covers, different types, opening shapes and finishes. Thanks to new techniques, covers can be integrated into any environment, providing aesthetics and functionality in equal parts. Depending on their usefulness, one model or another will be chosen: Fixed, Mobile, Telescopic or Inflatable covers. Pool enclosures are structures generally made of aluminium, aluminium alloy and wood.

Their ADVANTAGES:

– Enjoy the pool 12 months of the year.
– Reduce investment in cleaning and maintenance products.
– Increase the useful life of the pool, as it is protected from inclement weather and the accumulation of dirt, also reducing the use of chemical substances.
-Create different spaces in the garden.
Intervene in climate control thanks to the greenhouse effect. The cover can increase the temperature of the water from 8º to 12º, preserving it for longer and preventing evaporation.
– Wide variety of designs and sizes.
-Provide extra security in the presence of small children and pets.

The covers are divided into two types, rigid and flexible. In the case of the rigid ones, there are the elevated or submerged options. They can be manual, automatic electric and semi-automatic, the former are opened and closed manually by means of one or two handles located at the ends. The automatic ones, by means of a remote control with a motor or small remote control. The semi-automatic ones are opened by remote control but must be closed by hand. If the cover is automatic or semi-automatic, it will have an integrated motor inside the winding tube. They are made of floating blades and, because of their tight cut, they run over the water without any kind of guide. Its cover shaft is fixed by means of stainless steel anchors on the upper part of the wall, so that no installation or hole is made inside the pool shell.

Above or below ground? In the above-ground version, the roller shaft is located outside the pool, anchored to the pool coping. In submerged pools, both the roller shaft and the cover are housed inside the pool, thus achieving perfect harmony with the surroundings, without taking up more volume.

Flexible covers are waterproof tarpaulins that cover the surface of the pool, there are those with or without mooring. The covers without mooring are placed floating inside the pool, the measurements must be the same as those of the pool shell, it must be remembered that they cannot be used as a safety measure due to the lack of resistance to the fall of a significant weight. It is recommended that this type of cover should cover at least 30cm more than the water surface all around the pool.

Its ADVANTAGES:

– They prevent the formation of algae.
– They reduce the processes of filtration and water purification during the winter.
– Saves electricity consumption.
– They prevent the risk of falls.
– They reduce the use of chemical products by up to 70%.

And for Spas.

Like any swimming pool, a spa located on the terrace or in the garden must be protected from the external elements so that we can use it all year round in the most comfortable way.
